Aideen and Tess walk on, silently.
Wheels turn in Aideen's head.
Panel 2:
Aideen allows her exhaustion to shine through her expression. Tess responds enthusiastically to what she has to say.
Aideen: Tell you what. I'm fockin' tired, drunk, adrenalined-up and filthy with sweat. Those friends I mentioned? They've got a big place with a sauna, and I think you should meet-
Tess: Sounds good! Let's go!
Panel 3:
Aideen and Tess are stood outside the Fortress of Evening, about to enter.
Aideen: I know it don't look like much… Fock, I can't guarantee that anybody's in. But if you want to do this, this is where you start. Also, sauna, and drinks!

Finally, we've reached the end of this story! But the series isn't ending: hit the Subscribe link to get an update when the next story starts. There will also be some changes to the website to accommodate my future plans.
It's been a long time since I've ended anything. And with this one, I slowed down badly towards the end. I've actually been pretty busy practicing my traditional art skills and working on concepts for future comics including sequels to this story. But comics-wise, the sustained focus needed to make a comic page has been hard to manage for me in what everyone's calling these extraordinary times. Hopefully with the energy involved in a new project, that will change.
