Comic 2 - Low-key? Me?

Low-key? Me?

Panel 1:
Tess Durban and Aideen O'Neill, two young women, are walking down a high street at
night. Tess is a black woman dressed in distressed jeans and a
motorcycle jacket, with sneakers. Her outfit is not Gothic, but
appropriate for going to a Gothic concert. Aideen is in a heavy
overcoat, from under which stripy stockings and high heels can be
seen. She is a small white woman with long hair in two large,
be-ribboned pigtails, and is blowing bubblegum.
Tess: Thank you for giving me that ticket! I don't know that much
about darkwave… But I've heard of Cult of XünÿX! That's gotta be special.

Panel 2:
Tess and Aideen are walking on a short staircase outside, leading to
the door of a club. Aideen is in front. Outside, a scruffy man is smoking.
Tess: Also where did you get that jacket? I love it! I want something
for that for the winter.

Panel 3:
Tess and Aideen are inside. Aideen is getting her ticket checked by a
club staffer; Tess is waiting.
Club staffer: Ticket checks out. Can I see some ID?
Aideen: Vintage place on Bleeker. I'll show you.
Tess: Cool! I'm surprised to see you in something this low-key but it works.

Panel 4:
Aideen and Tess are in a locker area where Aideen is opening a locker.
Aideen: Low-key?
Tess: Yeah, I mean you like to dress a bit provocative normally and
now you're at an underground concert…

Panel 5:
While Tess is taking off her motorcycle jacket, revealing a mesh shirt
over a sports bra, Aideen turns around while stuffing her coat into
her locker. She reveals herself to be wearing a corset, no top, and a
mesh skirt with nothing underneath. Her nipples are covered by two X-es made of
electrical tape. She has a choker on and her fingerless mesh gloves are arm-length.
Aideen: There's still room. Give me your jacket.

ReinderDijkhuis UPDATE: Next page goes live on Tuesday, June 11 at 10 AM CET.

Cultish Manners is a one-shot that may become a longer series if people enjoy it and I have time. As with all my other comics, it will appear on an irregular schedule until done, though there is sort of a pipeline of 10 pages that are at least partly done. I created it for NaNoMango in October 2018 and resumed work on it in May of this year. The character Aideen is on loan from James Damaged, Cyberkitten01 on DeviantArt. Beware: Cyberkitten's work is considerably more erotic and explicit than mine.
The setting owes a lot to that of The Cosmic Beholder and can be presumed to be the same universe until I decide otherwise. Indeed, Tess was initially Beholder's Jung-La until I decided that that was not the kind of foil that Aideen needed.

The webdesign is an attempt at creating a super-minimalist webcomic template for Comicfury that works well on phones. What it lacks in visual pizzazz, it makes up for in speed and compatibility. For visually impaired readers, there are transcripts available that are hidden from computer screens but that a screen reader should be able to pick up. Let me know if this does not work.

Consistency in the design was helped by the use of the Vanilla CSS stylesheet reset which sets reasonable defaults for all major web browsers.

THE_BEHOLDER Yay, that is most exiting! I love that you set this in our world, its always fun to think that this is the same Aideen that is in The Odds.
Love the first page and what I did see so far, looking forward!
