Comic 14 - A reminder of what's at stake
Panel 1:
Rear view of the creature, if such a thing is possible, taking up most of the frame, leaving only a small corner for Liath to be visible in. In the foreground, we see Frits Zuniga, singer of the Cult of XünÿX, on all fours, suffering. Frits is a skinny older man with tight jeans, cowboy boots and spiky black hair that is quiffed in a Gothic parody of a 1950s rocker. As an OG Goth, his style is less standardized than that of younger goths.
Panel 2:
Liath counterattacks, slashing at the creature with her sword. The creature retreats.
Liath: Yah!
SFX: Swish!
Panel 3:
Narrow. Rear view of Liath, standing in wait for the creature's next move.
Panel 4:
Jan Boenen the keyboardist, Tess and Zig the drummer confer. Jan is an older man with a long beard and tall spiky hair. He has a white T-shirt on and is stroking his beard, looking towards the fight behind him with an expression of worry. Zig is a powerfully-built non-binary person with a short mohawk, wearing a mesh top. Tess is staring wide-eyed in the direction of the fight.
Boenen: I hate to do this, but we need to give Frits his heroin back.
Zig: Tess? Are you OK?
