Comic 13 - Into battle
Panel 1:
The shadow creature enveloping Frits Zuniga, singer of the Cult of XünÿX, lunges at the Celtic Warrior Goddess Liath while Tess flees out of the band's dressing room. The shadow creature is a black void with eyes and crow's bills in random places, and tendrils emanating from it. One bill is at the front of the creature as it lunges.
Liath is a 7-foot-tall, powerfully-built woman with long hair in two big pigtails. She is nude but wears shoulder, arm and leg armor and body paint. Some swishing pieces of cloth are affixed to her hips in an unexplained manner. She has a sword that is more than 3 feet long. Tess is a mixed-race black woman with loose afro curls, dressed in Goth-lite style with a mesh top.
SFX: Lunge!
Panel 2:
Liath charges at the shadow creature.
Liath: Rrraaaaah!
Panel 3:
Liath and the shadow creature fight. Liath hacks and slashes with her sword, and the creature dodges and envelops.
SFX: Swish!
